MULTIPLES

  1. 1. Her images fulfill the criteria for the assignment.
    2. The first image suggests that the artist is tired and is under pressure from herself. I am not sure what the stairs image is saying about the artist.
    3. The images look well put together. The only thing that jumps out to me are the edges on the left side of the girl with the pen… they look sharp especially around the hair, maybe the position of her should have been slightly back more as the hair is highlighted from the window but the light would have been blocked by the girl in the desk?
    4. My favorite is the stairs, The composition leads you eye from the lower left up the banister to the poor girl looking like she is in jail. The colors are natural and the expressions and poses are nicely varied.

  2. I like that she also went above and beyond the assignment by doing more that just the required amount of multiples. Both photos look very good and you can really get a read on her emotion and feeling at the time these were taken. The only issue i can find is her hair, the edges bring a little more of the background than desired due to her awesome curly hair, but unless you are looking for flaws most people would look right over it. I give her props for how well she did with the overlap which I found to be very difficult.

  3. 1. Fullfilled the criteria in both images.
    2. The first image is great. I think what the artist was trying to portray is a sort of writers block or frustrated student vibe . The left back image gives off the.. I'm listening but not really type of feel, while the front left image portrays that inspirational "you can do this" lecture .The stairs image almost implies a parent at the bottom of the stairs giving the kid a your grounded punishment , which is emphasized by the girl at the top of the stairs.
3.I believe the images are well executed , the harsh lines due to overlapping images is really hard to get perfect , especially when overlapping the lightness of her curly locks.
    4. I think the second image is most successful but the first had to have taken longer to work with. Good job Katie!
